About Pepper

Pepper Ashmore started his career as a local guitarist, eventually touring the U.S. as a backup musician for artists like Lou Cristie, The Temptations, The Shirelles, Tommy Roe, Box Tops, Fabian, Del Shannon, Gary Lewis, and the Playboys, and Jan & Dean.  Working his way back to Fgo-Mhd, Pepper worked with local acts like “Uglier Than Ever,” “FM Players,” and “Soft Thunder.”  In 1992 he retired his guitar to start a karaoke business with his wife Deb. 

Currently, Pepper has brought his guitars out of retirement and is promoting a solo performance around the local area. As a solo artist, Pepper plays the classic hits from the ’60s, ’70s, & ’80s… using both acoustic and electric guitar to back up his smooth tenor voice.
